Welcome to this information and learning resource. The focus of this resource is to support physical activity participation for people with HD. We have aimed to develop a resource that is helpful for people with HD, and their family members and caregivers who support their physical activities.
This online information resource has been developed in collaboration with the members of the European Huntington’s Disease Network (EHDN) Physiotherapy Working Group. The materials and documents which have been brought together to form the resource are evidence based and are underpinned by research investigating physical activity in Huntington’s disease. Therefore the content of the resource has been informed by people with HD and their family members and formal carers who have shared their views and experiences of physical activity with us.
Within the resource are links to a large range of different media, websites, and documents. The resource is designed to enable you to navigate to the most relevant and helpful areas of interest for you. The ‘ActiveHD’ twitter feed can also be found here.
